WP Bowls Marketing and Membership is delighted to announce that the Bowling Federation will continue with the Introductory Schools Programme in 2020.
In 2019, over 5000 children and teachers were introduced to the sport during a complementary Awareness Demonstration which can be held either on the school premises or at neighboring bowling clubs.
There are no requirements or expectations from the school following this introduction to bowls as it is an awareness campaign. During 2019, it was proven that bowls is no longer for the older generations, our junior membership increased from approximately 40 players to over 160 juniors in just one year.
This was the first marketing and membership drive in the district for many years and the sport is excited to report a strong increase in membership last year across all age brackets.

· Course lessons are delivered by qualified and experienced coaches.
· Coaches all have Police Certificates.
· Coaches sign a Code of Ethics Contract under Bowls South Africa.
· Coaches undergo regular performance appraisals and feedback sessions.
