There is strong interest in building university teams at both the University of Cape Town and Stellenbosch University. The great news is that we have two perfectly situated bowling clubs to facilitate this demand. There is Mowbray Bowling Club situated in middle campus UCT and Van Der Stel Bowling Club at the Stellenbosch sports grounds.
Any university or college looking to include bowls as a sport that they can offer on campus should contact Taz Bright (M&M Manager) on 074 118 2753 or bowls@wpbowls.co.za. There are 36 bowling clubs in the district and we will assist with linking your institution to one of them.
