Bowls, Beer and Braai growing!
The last Thursday of the month Bowls, Beer and Braai event has been a huge success so far! This month will be the fourth month under lights and our first double session in WP.
At the Bergvliet event (27th May) we strung the green for 7 rinks and 40% of the field were new bowlers!
The vibe was fantastic, Shackleton Brewery supplied tastings and prizes, Bergvliet provided burgers and there was some high quality bowling!
Next event
1st July – Kuils River and Gordon’s Bay
Kuils River will be a more competitive evening tournament with cash prizes. Gordon’s Bay will be hosting the first Bowl, Beer and Braai in the Basin – so more of an introduction with Shackleton prizes, tasters and hopefully lots of newbies!
