Help revise the WP Competitions – 2022/2023

WP Bowls hosts a number of District competitions every year – and many of them were played in the same format for many years.

Last year a Competitions Committee was formed to look at each of these competitions in details – and everyone was invited to participate!

This exercise is being repeated this year!

WP Bowls is inviting input, ideas and proposals from any members of the district about any existing or new competitions.

Please submit these via email to Mark Douglas by 1 July 2021.

Don’t be shy!

Do you think the a competition is fine as it is, should be removed from the calendar, should have the format changed, should be played at a different time? Do you have an idea for a new tournament? Feel free to send any and all of your suggestions.

This is an outline and not a comprehensive list. It does not include full breakdowns where a single name could incorporate multiple competitions.

For example, Singles is 8 different competitions at the moment – being separate competitions for Men and Women in Juniors, Novice, Open and Veteran groups.
