WP Junior Masters 2022
The WP Bowls Junior Masters was played at Pinelands BC this past weekend (18 and 19 June 2022).
We mention this every year – the skills and talent in this age group are beyond expectation – and the question is, does this have something to do with the way this game is played when you are young?
Players supporting opponents, the experienced ones assisting the anxious newcomers, and genuine happiness expressed for those who achieve! So many high fives! They might be our juniors, but they are certainly senior trendsetters in the sportsmanship department.
This is by no means a dig at the “older” players – it is just an eye-opening experience on how our sport can be enjoyed by all! Also – the energy that these players bring to our clubs, competitions, and events is refreshing!
